Chicago Ornamental Iron participated in the new build of American Airlines’ Hangar 2 at the O’Hare airport, a $215 million project.
The hangar is 160,000 sqft and is constructed from 7,000+ tons of steel. Chicago Ornamental performed work on the basic structure, the 70 foot doors on the hangar, as well as decorative metal work.
